Dr. Miranda Costa, ND, MS is experienced in primary care private practice with a history of working in the healthcare and wellness industry. She is skilled in integrative oncology care, disease prevention, genomics, environmental medicine, hormonal therapies, clinical nutrition, and highly skilled in chronic pain management.

Dr. Costa is a board certified and licensed Naturopathic Physician (ND) from Southern Oregon. Prior to her medical studies, she completed a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in design and photography from New School University at Parsons School of Design. With a background in design and integrative medical training, Dr. Costa has the ability to creatively approach very complex interactions in clinical medicine and research. She received multiple degrees while in graduate school, both a Doctorate and a Master’s in Integrative Medicine Research (MSiMR), and gained significant appreciation for the study and practice of medicine.

Dr. Costa has worked as a teaching physician for several years in the areas of chronic pain, addiction, chronic illness, CIRS, and functional medicine with a focus in bio-identical hormone replacement therapies.

Publications include peer reviewed research in The Journal of Integrative Oncology (Article).

Paul Lorona is a licensed behavioral health provider. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science at the University of California at Riverside, and his Master’s in Counseling (MFT) at California State University, Long Beach. His previous experience includes working at a crisis residential facility for co-occurring disorders, serving as program director and clinician. He has also been the program director of outpatient services for dual diagnosed individuals and has provided intensive case management to adults, adolescents and children for over 10 years.  During that same time frame, Paul also has provided treatment for chronic pain patients. Most recently, he was the clinical director for a dual diagnosis residential treatment facility. Paul is a firm believer in integrative medicine. His goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients can work toward recovery and self-sufficiency. He enjoys working with diverse populations and respects the process a patient takes in reaching their goals.
